How did you get into art?

My folks were too poor to get me the coolest toy back then and my only leisure/playtime was doodling on recycled papers. My late grandmother was the best art teacher you could ever ask for, she made me what i am today.

How do you get inspiration for the pieces you produce?

Based on heavy influences of my oriental roots fusing with stuff evolving around me and pumping in a little fun factor too.

What has been your best creation to date?

Hmmm, a couple of character designs based on my childhood heros, one of them is from the chinese myth - MONKEY GOD. I pumped in the modern influences to him. He's my proudest so far.

How much do you think hype affects the public perception of what good art is?

I really don't give a damn about such things. I just do what I like and see what I fancy.

Last CD you bought/downloaded/shoplifted?

I ripped the clubber's remix produced by Ministry of Sound.

How did you feel when you realised that art could make you some money?

Blessed!!!! I hate paperwork.

Why do so many people spend money on music yet so few buy art?

Do they even spend money on music??? ha ha ha, maybe it takes a talent to enjoy art.

How is your local art scene?

Pretty slow but its picking up.

What makes you happy?

My own time doing art.

What makes you sad?

Lousy creations.

Sex, heh.

Last book you read?

An encyclopedia of camouflage by DPM (i'm still on it).

What's your favourite soup?

Seafood.

I sleep in my storeroom.

Is there a downside to being so talented?

I always expect my next creation has to be better. Other people expect it too.
