How did you get into animation?

I'm not an animator really. It's something I would like to explore more later perhaps. When I was at college I thought animation was what I wanted to do. Now I'm not so sure I have any patience for it.

How do you get inspiration for the work you produce?

Generally just sitting listening to music seeing what kind of characters/objects I can come up with. Its always good to look at other illustrators work and have a go with different styles. I spend a lot of time online and tend to come across a wide variety of things from various blogs like boing-boing or wooster collective.

What has been your best creation to date?

I'm quite fond of the Pinhole Photographs I did for a project at uni. Like so - (click.)

How did you feel when you realised that art could make you some money?

Art can make you money now ? *laughs*

How much do you think hype affects the public perception of what good art is?

Not much.

Describe your perfect day?

I would quite like to find 'Bernards watch'. I would get drunk, pause time and do bad things.

Do you Scots really wear nothing beneath your kilts?

I wear my dislike for this question on my face.

What makes you happy?

Bed, Music, Chocolate, The Mighty Boosh.

What makes you sad?

The ultimate pointlessness of things/endeavour.

Sex, drugs or rock n roll?

Lucozade.

Last book you read?

Not a big book fan myself. Vic Reeves autobiography called 'Me:Moir'

Whats your most irritating habit?

Chewing Pens.

Whats your favourite soup?

The vegetable/lentil soup my Mum makes.

What else do like other than art?

Chewing Pens.

What time did you get up?

About half 4. In the afternoon. eek !

Any regrets?

Lots.
