How did you get into art?
As a young child, my cousin Larry and I used to spend hours drawing and "sculpting" lego creations. He was a couple years older then I and I always was trying to get my skills to be as good as his. My parents recognized that I was highly interested in creating and never detered me from it. Even when teachers would disipline me for doodling on my math papers. At the age of 12 I was fortunate to have my mother put me into an animators workshop at disney world and got to see the behind the scenes of cartoons and was floored. That was a huge moment in my life when I realized you can make a living being creative.
How do you get inspiration for the pieces you produce?
Strive to learn as much as possible, about my environment, food, artists, product design, and culture.
What has been your best creation to date?
My 2 kids Iris and Denny 5.
How much do you think hype affects the public perception of what good art is?
It shouldn't be about hype at all. It should be about personal interests, aesthetics and have a sense of discovery be it visually, mentally or both.

How is your local art scene?
Good and Bad. there s lots of talent, lots of politics and not a lot of community. Galleries are closing up shop left and right and this during a supposed art boom. its kind of a untapped market. I don t know how else to put it right now its just plain weird.

Is there a downside to being so talented?
Still trying to get there to find out.
