How did you get into art?

Art School then advertising then commercials then film.

How do you get inspiration for the work you produce?

By digging deep and checking out how stuff makes me feel.

What has been your best creation to date?

Blek Le Rat Stencil Pioneer film.

Why do people pay for music yet spend very little on art?

Because the public are obsessed with fame and musicians are seen to be more 'glamourous'.

How much do you think hype affects the public perception of what good art is?

Art today is all about the hype.

Zbigniew Preisner 'Requiem for my friend'

Describe your perfect day?

Get up, feed the kids, take them to school. Edit/shoot. Hang with my wife. Watch a film with my kids. Play cards with my mates. Sleep.

Listening to music this week.

What make you happy?

Art. Love. Food.

What makes you sad?

Consumerism.

Sex, drugs or rock n roll?

Sex.

Bergman on Bergman.

Can't keep my mouth shut.

Travel. Hanging with my kids.

This is so strange Im sure but I dreamt of your name in a dream I was having about film making. Ive honestly never heard of Adam Stone before but I was dreaming of drag queens in huge shoes and pink eyeshadow, laying in a huge king size bed with tall dark wood in a huge studio space watching artistic films that had been tampered with. Then there was a clown floating in a gothic room with gargoils everywhere in the archetecture in front of a security camera saying and singing things i dont remember. Then the security guards chased him out wearing pin strips and when the lady at the desk asked me for the name of the person who had been tampering with the films I gave them your name. Adam Stone. and I woke up inspired to create paintings of strippers. Makes not much sence but Im sure it has reason to it.
