How did you get into art?
It actually runs in my family blood, I guess it comes naturally and I love it!
How do you get inspiration for the pieces you produce?
By studying structures of buildings, anything out of the norm, like protruding wires or cables etc.
What has been your best creation to date?
That will be painting the facade of Singapore Art Museum.
How does it feel living in the least graffiti tolerant country in the world?
Well, I feel that I’m trap in a cage, limited to what I can or not produce. I believe that there’s NO boundaries to any form of art, especially graffiti art.
How much do you think hype affects the public perception of what good art is?
Very much indeed. It all depends on the public because they are the ones who's buying the artwork.
Last CD you bought/downloaded/shoplifted?
None, it’s a serious offence to download or shoplifting...hehe.
How did you feel when you realised that art could make you some money?
I feel appreciated! People pay me to create a form of art that not all appreciate.
Why do so many people spend money on music yet so few buy art?
I’m still looking for the answer...
Know any jokes?
A Thailand and a Bangla guy walking along a street, both of them decided to cross the road, the Thailand guy walks across the road, the Bangla-dash across the road.
Get it...haha.
What makes you happy?
Art and music.
What makes you sad?
Innocent people getting killed in political wars.
Sex, drugs or rock n roll?
All of the above!..haha..
Last book you read?
The Damage Done: Twelve Years of Hell in a Bangkok Prison by Warren Fellows.
What's your favourite soup?
Mushroom Soup.
Tell us a secret?
None.
Quote us your favourite song lyric?
Get up, stand up! Stand up for your rights!
Bob
Marley and Peter Tosh.
What time did you get up?
6:00am.
Any close encounters with the law?
None.
What else do like other than art?
Fishing! It’s another hobby that calms my mind.
Any regrets?
Too much to reveal..
Final thoughts...
I love graffiti art!
